My Baby

It has been a while since I last blogged and even then, it was only a post of a poem I wrote for my wife. There has been a lot going on as of late. I thought my car was out for the count but it was only a minor problem. I am going to pick my baby up this afternoon. I know that I am the only person in the world that loves that car but it has been good to me. Besides the little hiccup this week, it had last week it has only stopped on me once. It would have made it home that time had I not stopped at Taco Bell to grab something to eat. I know I don’t always spend the time and the effort that I should to keep it running properly but when it gives me a scare like it did on Monday I realize just how much I love and depend on it as a part of my life. Once I pick it up, I am going to get it a nice wash job and some premium gas. I am going to detail vacuum it tomorrow. I am going to tape the head lining in place and the next time I get a chance to take it to my cousin’s shop I am going to get that new head lining with the swirls in it that will look so great in it.
