A LITTLE THANKS (things I am thinking of right now)

My Kids--- Kids are great. They bring a ray of sunshine to the cloudiest day. My son is just flat out silly. He was doing some type of a walk like an Egyptian dance in front of the TV Saturday night after School Of Rock was going off that had everybody just shaking their head. My daughter is more like her mother kind of quiet and talkative all at the same time if that is possible. We are really thinking about adopting another one in about three years.

My Family--- I am thankful that my family is normal and not dependant. I have heard so many people talk about family members that for some strange reason seem to think that someone owes them something. It is good not to get those random phones calls from someone asking to borrow money all of the time. That has to be a dang headache. I am glad everyone in the family works. Working people don’t have time to keep up a bunch of mess.

My Job--- I honestly love my job. I can usually get everything I need to get done in about four hours if I try really hard. That being said I usually work at leisure while reading blogs, chatting, and listening to music. All of the people in my section are grown. We don’t have anyone on the phone all day. We don’t have anyone come to work late. We don’t have anyone gossiping all the time. The people that do these things are the same people that are behind in their work and always needing help. It is great working with grown people. You can’t truly appreciate it unless you have worked with true adolescent acting assholes which I have.

My Upbringing--- There are some people out there that truly don’t know. I hate to see a grown person stink. Body hygiene is simple wash it and it will not stink. I have encountered a lot of old stinky people lately. I am not talking about old as in senior citizen that needs help. I am talking about 20-45 year olds that come to work smelling like booty, must, and other indescribable smells. Sad truly sad. I don’t speak the kings English by any stretch of the imagination but I can speak well enough to be understood by the general professional public. A young lady after cursing the manager out at my second job wrote her a note asking for her job back. I have never seen anything like this in my life. It was on a wrinkled piece of dingy typing paper. It has handwritten in big second grade cursive. The grammatical errors and misspellings made it damn near impossible to read. This went right up there when some cat tried to sell my grandmother some prepaid burial insurance and the lady filling out the papers wrote in all big uppercase letters that looked like a first grader had wrote it. She ended up not getting the insurance and the guy of course ended up bankrupt a couple of years later. I guess my threatening to kill him in front of my grandmother had something to do with it. I had just read an extensive article about how funeral homes were taking advantage of people this way embezzling the money and going out of business. I told him if anything like that happened I would kill as sure as grass is green. A lot of people these days seem not to have any respect for their personal appearance and demeanor. I blame it on crack.
